December Sermon Series
Songs of Christmas
We sing the story of Christmas every year, but the deeper truths often get lost in the melody. This series goes beyond the lyrics with familiar Christmas songs, showing how these songs proclaim the gospel story from promise to fulfillment.

During our Christmas Candlelight Services, we’ll be featuring a choir with our Northwood Kids Ministries! Kids ages 5 through 11 years old are invited to sign up to be part of this year’s choir. Kids must be between the ages of 5-11 and commit to attending rehearsal on Thursday, December 18th at 6 PM.
Requirements: Aged 5-11 years old, attend NC, and attend rehearsal
Where: Each NC Community will have its own Christmas Candlelight & Kids Choir

Marriage Getaway
February 27-28, 2026
Registration is OPEN for Marriage Getaway 2026! This is a great time for married couples to slow down and get away for the weekend to laugh, relax, and spend intentional time investing in their marriage.

Prayer & Worship
Sunday, December 7th
Each month, we come together to worship and pray for our community, our church, and one another. Join us at 5:30 PM in each NC Community for an impactful hour of prayer and renewing in God’s presence.

We are excited about celebrating the birth of Jesus with you for our Christmas Services at NC! We will enjoy worshiping Jesus together, a Christmas message, and more!

We’re excited to announce our 2026 Mission Trips! Next year, our teams will be traveling to several locations to share the love of Jesus through service, outreach, and relationship. Each trip offers a unique opportunity to serve others, grow in your faith, and experience how God is moving across the world.

NextGen Sunday
Sunday, January 18th
Once a month our 9 to 11 year olds join us in the main worship service to worship with their families. After worship is over, kids are dismissed to their Northwood Kids environment to hear the word of God!
*NC Long Beach does not have NextGen Sunday at this time
Next Steps Class Sunday, January18th
The Next Steps Class is held once a month on the third Sunday. This class will give you an overview of what NC is all about. You’ll learn about the heart and mission of NC, who we are, and how you can be a part.

Night of Worship

All 4 NC Communities will gather together at the Gulfport Location for an incredible Night of Worship! We’ll worship Jesus together, pray, take communion, and celebrate Water Baptisms.

Water Baptism
Sunday, January 18th
Water Baptism is an important step of obedience in the life of a Christ follower. It’s a public declaration that you’ve placed your trust in Jesus for salvation!
Our next Water Baptisms will be held during our Night of Worship X4 on Sunday night, January 18th at the Gulfport Location
