Year of the Bible
Sermon Series
Join us for Year of the Bible, a focused, church-wide commitment to grow in Scripture and develop a daily devotional rhythm. Using the Tyndale One Year Bible, we’ll read the same passage together each day, and our weekly teaching will build directly from those readings. Our prayer is simple: that God would ignite a new hunger for His Word and form us into people who hear it, love it, and live it.

Groups are an important part of what we do at NC, they’re a great way to find community, connect with others, and help grow in your relationship with Christ. We have several different types of Groups, from biblically based study groups, to sermon series groups that dive deeper into the weekly sermons. We also have Pain to Purpose groups designed to help navigate through life’s most difficult seasons of grief, loss, tragedy or major life transition.
Young Adult Night
March 27th
Young Adult Night is a great place for 18-28 year olds to get together with others in similar seasons of life, to build friendships, grow in faith, and connect with a community. Whether you’re in college, working, or just looking for people to connect with, we’d love for you to have you.

Next Steps Class
Sunday, April 12th
The Next Steps Class is held once a month on the third Sunday. This class will give you an overview of what NC is all about. You’ll learn about the heart and mission of NC, who we are, and how you can be a part.

Church at Jones Park
Sunday, April 19th
Our annual Church at Jones Park is happening Sunday, April 19th! This is an incredible day of fun for the whole family, all 4 NC Communities will gather together under Barksdale pavilion to kick off the day with worship and a special service, followed by a full day of fun, kickball and pickleball tournaments, food, cookie contests, kids activities, new NC merch, and more.

Fuge Camp
Registration is OPEN
Fuge Camp is a mission-focused camp experience for Students 6th-12th grade that allows students to participate in hands-on ministry and growth through groups, community outreaches, worship and devotionals.
When: June 22nd - 26th, 2026
Cost: S375 per Student
Where: William Carey University, Hattiesburg, MS

Mission Trips

Our teams will be traveling to several locations to share the love of Jesus through service, outreach, and relationship. Each trip offers a unique opportunity to serve others, grow in your faith, and experience how God is moving across the world.

ASL Interpreted
Services
We’re excited to offer American Sign Language interpreted worship services for our Deaf & Hard of Hearing community. Services are currently offered at our Gulfport and Long Beach Locations. Our goal is to help others fully engage in worship, community and the message of Jesus.
Gulfport: 8:30 AM Service
Long Beach: 11:30 AM Service
These services are supported by a qualified ASL interpreter
Prayer & Worship
Sunday, May 3rd
Each month, we gather together for a night of Prayer & Worship. Join us for 1 hour as we worship Jesus, pray for our communities, our church, and each other.
5:30 PM at Each NC Location
(Childcare available for ages 0-4)
NextGen Sunday
Sunday, May 17th
Once a month our 9 to 11 year olds join us in the main worship service to worship with their families. After worship is over, kids are dismissed to their Northwood Kids environment to hear the word of God!
*NC Long Beach does not have NextGen Sunday at this time
Student Night
Sunday, May 17th
Students from all NC Locations gather together monthly on the third Sunday at 5 PM for Student Nights! These nights are filled with high-energy fun, powerful worship, relevant messages designed specifically for students to help equip them for the challenges they face, and grow them in their relationship with God.

Water Baptism
Sunday, May 31st
Water Baptism is an important step of obedience in the life of a Christ follower. It’s a public declaration that you’ve placed your trust in Jesus for salvation!
