The Lord’s Prayer
November Sermon Series
Most of us pray, but if we’re honest, a lot of times we’re not sure if we’re doing it right. Even Jesus’ own disciples ask Him, “Lord, teach us to pray.” His answer became what we now call The Lord’s Prayer, but it’s so much more than a prayer to memorize. It’s a roadmap to connection with God. Jesus didn’t give us a script to recite religiously. He taught us how to approach God, with reverence, surrender, dependence, forgiveness, and trust.

NextGen Sunday
Sunday, November 16th
Once a month our 9 to 11 year olds join us in the main worship service to worship with their families. After worship is over, kids are dismissed to their Northwood Kids environment to hear the word of God!

Next Steps Class Sunday, November 16th
The Next Steps Class is held once a month on the third Sunday. This class will give you an overview of what NC is all about. You’ll learn about the heart and mission of NC, who we are, and how you can be a part.

Davey Blackburn
November 23
Join us on Sunday, November 23rd, as we welcome guest speaker, Davey Blackburn. Davey is founder and director of Nothing is Wasted Ministries, an organization that help people in trauma, tragedy, grief, and major life transitions. Their Pain to Purpose curriculum has helped thousands navigate their pain and find healing and wholeness.

Serve Opportunity
Camping for Hope
Camping for Hope is an outreach event of Gulf Coast Community Ministries, one of our Mission Partners at NC. We’ll have the opportunity to serve alongside Gulf Coast Community Ministries to help organize and hand out donations, serve food and coffee, and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
